Small Lab Co., Ltd. holds the original technology for dissolving microneedles that uses biocompatible, biodegradable and high molecular weight substances. The microneedles manufactured using this technology goes through a sterilization process for it to be used as single-use products. This solving the problems of existing reusable items.
Since its establishment, Small Lab is making efforts for technology development and commercialization of the microneedles such as mold manufacture, injection molding, material polymerization, large scale production technology, continuous processing technology, drug loading and production technology, etc. through the industry-university cooperation research. As of now, our company is mainly producing the soluble hyaluronic acid microneedles which are used for the cosmetic industry and we are supplying the product to relevant companies through the ODM and is researching on the drug delivery system based on the medical microneedles.
In 2015, we attracted investment from the Hugel, the BNH investment, and the Korea technology finance corporation in recognition of our company’s possibilities. Owing to the investment, we established a clean room facility that is exclusive for the production of the microneedles. Small Lab is a company seeking continuous development and challenge as a company specialized in ODM of the microneedles and trusted by customers with acquisition of certifications such as ISO 22716:2007 and GMP.
