S-Skin Co., Ltd. is Korean Beauty Startup which has been spun off from Samsung Electronics in 2017.
The idea for producing solid type of cosmetic formulation by Micro-needle had been arisen from a trial project by one laboratory organization, C-Lab, in Samsung Electronics and the initial product was introduced at the world largest home appliances exhibition(CES) in Las vegas 2017.
Our first debut took significant achievement by being selected as one of the Forbes’ three Best Beauty Technologies and attracting attention as an innovative beauty technology by world’s leading media, BBC.
After establishing an independent company, we have further advanced and developed the technology. As a result of not stopping technical development for Micro-needle patch for the past three years, now we are ahead of the 4(four) PCT international patent applications/registrations.
In addition, through going into partnership with Givaudan, a leading raw material technology company in France, we have succeeded in developing multi-functional patches that simultaneously improve wrinkles and brightening by containing higher level of functional ingredients in the needles and have completed the safety test by clinical institution.
Micro-needle patch is the principle that the roller type of MTS used in dermatology clinic and aesthetic is attached into attachable beauty patch. Diamond coated needle plate(mold) technology which is currently under PCT international patent application/registration enables the production of 3,000 spear-typed needles penetrating into the horny layer of the skin. These Micro-needles are based on Hyaluronic acid and satisfy superior moisturizing and deliver other functional ingredients directly into the skin, resulting in higher skin improvement.
