BK Biofood was founded to serve as a stepping stone for the local community by processing agricultural products we grow, providing healthy food, and creating new values in agriculture.
We aim to increase sales of Korea’s traditional fermented foods (gochujang, doenjang, ganjang, cheonggukjang) in Korea and other countries by exporting them. In addition to finished products, we plan to develop and promote an education-themed business by launching gochujang-making kits so people can experience traditional fermented food making.
While managing this company, I had another dream.
I want to promote our great traditional food not only in Korea but around the world through the healthy food I make. I believe that the current K-Food fever is a small signal that marks the beginning of the wish of people around the world to lead a healthy life. Inheriting my mother’s belief that good food is better than medicine, I will continue to move forward until the day when Korean traditional jang becomes another sauce loved by people all over the world.
